考研英语长难句练习：

        【典型难句】In the 10 years ending in 2009, ［U.S.］ factories shed workers so fast that they erased almost all the gains of the previous 70 years; roughly one out of every three manufacturing jobs—about 6 million in total—disappeared.

        【结构图解】

        【要点注释】此句中由分号连接两个并列的结果状语。破折号中的内容是插入语，解释roughly one of every three manufacturing jobs的数量。

        【难句精译】2009年之前的十年内，美国工厂裁撤工人速度之快，基本上相当于过去70年新增的工人数量；大概每三个工作岗位中就有一个岗位消失——总共约有600万之多。

          请求信结尾段常用句式：

        ⑤I would appreciate your considering this matter and getting back to me at your earliest convenience.
        非常感谢您能考虑这件事情，并且在你方便之余及时予以回复。
        ⑥Thank you for your attention to these requests.
