Trivial things matter
There seems to be a general assumption that brilliant people cannot choose to do trivial things that they need to draw attention to great ambition in odor to do their best. It is also assumed that dull people are particularly suited for little much dismiss, let alone contempt, the role of a virtue.
As is manifested in the thought-conducive cartoon; the man refuse to clear the floor, claiming unreasonably that he only intends to realize his great ambition of “revitalizing china”. When asked to do some chores, he replies that his weapon can be a pan, not a broom, if he never cares about petty things, how can he gain his goal? (it is inevitable that his neglect of trivial things will ultimately wreck his ambition.)

A great deal of attention is being paid today to health. The statistics in graphs indicate that great changes have been taking place in people’s health-related lifestyle over the period from 2001 to 2005. Surprisingly, the number of people who are motivated to participate in physical exercise and to cut down on weight is reaching the peak, while their expense on their health programs account for a considerable proportion in their total expenditures.
Why is there such a tide in people’s lifestyles? For this there are two major reasons. Nowadays people can afford to devote a larger part of their income to the maintenance of physical health, with their living standards improve by a wide margin, (besides people how give more weight to the quality of their life, because they know it is of great benefit, to keep physically fit). This is what lies behind the figures shown in the illustration.
From the above, we can see that people’s living level has been rising markedly in the past five years. Moreover, we can also expect what there will be a more prosperous future waiting for us. This is the tendency of people’s lifestyle. |
