Directions:
You have borrowed several books from the university library. Unfortunately, you cannot return the books on time. Write a letter to the chief librarian
1)explaining what has happened,
2)telling what you want to do about it, and
3)saying when you can give the books back
You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2. Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead. You do not need to write the address. (10 points)
正文:
Dear Sir or Madam:
      I’m very sorry to inform you that I couldn’t return the several books borrowed the library on time,due to a sudden illness falling upon me a few days ago.For the few days,I have been in the hospital,with a continuons fever,which has thus prevented me from any activity.I hereby submit the doctor’s note.
      I would be mach obliged if you could grant me another week for retune the books,as my health is truning better.
      Hope you can understand my situation and accept my apology.
