Digital camera is a device that stores images digitally (1) rather than recording them on films. Digital cameras are widespread all over the world and warmly (2) welcome by customers in different countries. Digital camera is considered to be the best successor to the traditional camera based on films.
Digital camera and conventional camera share the same principles in the basic level. However, they are different in the processes of storing pictures. Differing from conventional cameras, digital cameras record pictures by using chips instead of films. The resolution and storage capacity of a camera are the key specifications. Pictures’ quality is determined by the resolution of the digital camera. (3) Better picture quality can be obtained provided higher resolution. On the other side, memory capacity determines how many pictures can be stored in the camera.
Compared with its predecessor conventional camera, digital camera holds several distinctive superiorities.
