前两单元总结帖

这是一个带着大家每天背单词的活动，每天上线30分钟，跟着海豚背单词复习单词，快乐地攻下单词难关哦
有些事情可以有捷径，背单词也有捷径，但是没有捷到可以不下功夫就记住，所以，要有吃苦的准备哦。

本节目适用于以下人群：
1、正在备考，还没有背单词的，可以每天跟着我们的节目背单词；
2、已经背过一部分单词的，可以通过我们的节目进行复习，省去了很多复习的精力。

本节目分为如下几个步骤：
1、词根、图片记忆（看海豚给出的关系图形象记忆单词）
2、单词逐词记忆（看单词的英英意思和相关词汇进行立体记忆）
3、例句考核（现学现用，说出题目中黑体字在句子中的含义）
4、昨日重现（复习昨天学过的内容）

请理清图中的词缀关系，必要的话，请自己在草稿纸上学着画一下词汇关系。
今天要学的词缀是：
Center 中心
Cern，cert=to separate 分离
Cert=sure 确定的
Circ，cyc=ring 环

请注意看下表中的彩色部分哦
做练习的时候发现很多同学都是指回答了单词的本意，在这里海豚希望大家背单词的时候多看一下英语的解释和英语的近义词，多看英英意思才能够知道这个单词的确切意思，因为毕竟英文翻译为中文的释义，还是多多少少会有一些误差。导致我们在理解句子的时候，把中文的意思拿来生搬硬套很容易出错。

central	词义	［a.］ ① in the centre of an area or object 在中心的；中央的［近 middle, median］ ②having power or control over other parts起支配作用的，有控制力的［近dominant］ ③ most important; main首要的；主要的［+to］［近essential, primary, principal］
central	例句	②. The worlds three top central bankers are all close to the top of the alphabet... 世界三大中央银行行长的姓氏都靠近字母表的顶部（2004 阅读Text 2）
concentrate	词义	［v.］ ① ［T］ to bring sth together in one place使……集中、汇集［+ad./prep.］［近assemble］ ②［I,T］ focus (ones attention, effort, etc) exclusively and intensely on sth, not thinking about anything else全神贯注, 专心致志（于某事物）［+on sth/doing sth］［近focus］ ③ ［T］ to make a liquid stronger by removing some of the water from it浓缩（液体）［近condense］
concentrate	例句	Grammar, punctuation, and spelling can wait until you revise. Concentrate on what you are saying. 语法、标点和拼写等问题留待修改时再考虑，把注意力放在你要说的内容上。 (2008阅读Part B)
eccentric	词义	［a.］① (of people, behavior)considered by other people to be strange or unusual（指人、举止）异常的，古怪的［近bizarre, odd］［n.］② ［C］ a person with an unusual or odd personality古怪的人

discern	词义	［v.］［T］ ① ［不用进行式］ to see, notice, or understand sth only after looking at it or thinking about it carefully（仔细看过或想过之后才）看出；分辨出；觉察出；了解［+sth, +wh-, +that］［近make out, see, detect, spot, distinguish, perceive］
discreet	词义	［a.］ ① careful or showing good judgment in what one says or does言行审慎的，慎重的［+about sth］［近cautious，diplomatic］［反indiscreet］ ② small in size or degree; not too obvious （褒）不明显的，不显眼的，小的，淡的［近moderate, reasonable］

ascertain	词义	［v.］［T,I］① to find out the true or correct information about sth弄清，查明［+sth, +wh-/that］［近determine, discover］
