1.It is ture that during their explorations they often faceed the difficulies and dangers of the most perilous nature,equipped in a manner which would make a modern climber shudder at the thought,but they did not go out of on their way to court such excitement.
在他们的探险活动中常常要面对困难和大自然中最危险的情景，现代登山者在准备时想到这些在一定程度上会害怕，但是他们并不是特地的去选择这些刺激。
2.There is only one difference between an old man and a young one:the young man has a glorious future before him and old one has a spledid future behind him:and maybe that is where the rub is.
在老年人和年轻人之间只有一个区别那就是：青年人有一个光辉的未来，而老年人有一个 辉煌的过去，也许这就是摩擦的所在。
